The Floriopoli thematic park intends to generate new development opportunities for the Palermo metropolitan area. The intervention area, theater of the "Targa Florio", the most famous italian automobile race in the world, is designed to accomodate a service center, a museum, a cultural and educational center, offices, car parks and paths inside the park. The project aims to constitute a creative center that, starting from the history of the Targa Florio and therefore from the mechanics of the car, goes to reach the new production frontiers that use nano and bio technologies.
