Giò Ponti and Francesco Bonfanti designed Villa Favorita between 1936 and 1939. The construction site, initiated in 1940, was interrupted at the level of the basement due to the Second World War and the works were never finished. The proposed project is designed as a plane suspended between memory and contemporaneity, going to use the basement of the villa as underground building and creating a new covering that allow to host a variety of functions by transforming it into an organised space for events, film sceernings, theater performances and concerts.
